The Intelix AVO-V3HD-F
HDTV Component Video Balun transmits/receives Y/Pb/Pr HDTV Component Video or RGB video signals up to
500 feet over a single CAT 5 type cable (or multiple composite video signals up to 2200 feet).
The AVO-V3HD-F features BNC connectors, making it the ideal choice for use with professional or high-end consumer equipment. This professional-grade device uses a high-performance passive design to deliver crisp Component Video.
The Intelix AVO-V3HD-F HDTV Component Video Balun is an ideal solution for corporate A/V, schools, churches, auditoriums, as well as for use by discriminating individuals - just about any situation that involves A/V distribution.
With its enclosed design, the Intelix AVO-V3HD-F may be used stand-alone, or may also be rack-mounted by using an optional rack-mount kit.
The (3) video connectors are BNC-female jacks, suitable for use with BNC-equipped component video cables. Connection to the twisted-pair cable is via RJ45.
Notice that Intelix baluns are designed to work with standard unshielded CAT5, CAT6 or CAT7 twisted-pair cable - shielded cable is not required! If you want the very best RJ45 pre-terminated twisted-pair cables, please check out our VideoTwist Cat-6 cables.
These units are sold singly, but you will typically want to purchase in pairs. Notice too that the AVO-V3HD currently stands as the only member of the Intelix's AVO-Series baluns that is designed to work with another AVO-V3HD balun, as there are no others that are focused solely upon the highest level of component video performance.
Like most Intelix products, the AVO-V3HD-F comes with a two year limited warranty from the manufacturer.

The Intelix AVO-V3-F balun is a commercial-grade balun featuring BNC connectors for transmitting high-definition component video up to 500 feet over standard unshielded twisted pair cabling, such as Cat 5 or Cat 6. The AVO-V3HD-F does not require power.
The Intelix AvoCat Series of baluns is the ideal solution for sending audio and video over structured cabling.

In this connection example, two
AVO-V3HD-F baluns connect a video switcher to a remote plasma. A three channel RGB cable with BNC connectors connect the baluns to
the switcher and plasma.
