The Intelix AVO-V3AD-F
Component Video and Digital Audio Balun transmits/receives
Y/Pb/Pr component video and coaxial digital audio signals up to 500 feet over a single Cat 5 type cable.
This professional-grade device uses a high-performance passive design to deliver crisp component video and audiophile-quality digital audio.
The Intelix AVO-V3AD-F Component Video and Digital Audio Balun is an ideal solution for corporate A/V, schools, churches, auditoriums, as well as for use by discriminating individuals - just about any situation that involves A/V distribution.
With its enclosed design, the Intelix AVO-V3AD-F may be used stand-alone, or may also be rack-mounted by using an optional rack-mount kit.
The (3) video connectors are RCA-female jacks, suitable for use with standard component video cables. The audio connector is also RCA-female, suitable for use with standard coaxial digital audio interconnect cables. Connection to the twisted-pair cable is via RJ45.
Notice that Intelix baluns are designed to work with standard unshielded CAT5, CAT6 or CAT7 twisted-pair cable - shielded cable is not required! If you want the very best RJ45 pre-terminated twisted-pair cables, please check out our VideoTwist Cat-6 cables.

AVO-V3AD-F Component Video and Digital Audio Balun
The Intelix AVO-V3AD-F HDTV balun transmits one high-definition component video signal and one digital audio signal up to 1,000 feet over inexpensive structured cabling, such as Cat 5 or Cat 6.
Used in pairs, the AVO-V3AD supports 480i/p, 720p and 1080i/p resolutions for hi-definition multimedia applications.
The Intelix AvoCat Series of baluns is the ideal solution for sending audio and video over structured cabling.
