Y/C or Dual Composite Video and Stereo Audio Wallplate Balun w/RJ45 termination transmits/receives
Y/C or two composite video as well as stereo (or two mono) audio signals up to 2200 feet over a single Cat 5 type cable.

The Intelix AVO-V2A2-WP-F Y/C or Dual Composite Video and Stereo Audio Wallplate Balun is an ideal solution for corporate A/V, schools, churches, auditoriums, as well as for use by discriminating individuals - just about any situation that involves A/V distribution.
With its attractive Decora-style wallplate design, the Intelix
AVO-V2A2-WP-F is simple to install in a standard single-gang electrical box. A Decora trim cover is not included, but we do offer
them as an option below.
The video connectors are RCA-female, suitable for use with standard composite video cables. The audio connectors are also RCA-female, color-coded white and red for use with standard audio interconnect cables. Connection to the twisted-pair cable is via RJ45.
Notice that Intelix baluns are designed to work with standard unshielded CAT5, CAT6 or CAT7 twisted-pair cable - shielded cable is not required! If you want the very best RJ45 pre-terminated twisted-pair cables, please check out our VideoTwist Cat-6 cables.

AVO-V2A2-WP-F Dual Composite Video & Stereo Audio Balun
The Intelix AVO-V2A2-WP-F balun is an ideal solution for transmitting two channels of composite video and ultra-high quality stereo audio up to 2,200 feet over structured cabling, such as Cat 5. Used in pairs or with a rack-mountable Intelix AVO-V2A2-F balun, AVO-V2A2-WP-F baluns replace bulky coaxial cable and utilize a building's existing structured cabling network. The AVO-V2A2-WP-F features female RCA connectors on a standard decora plate.
The Intelix AVO-V2A2-WP wall-plate balun transmits two composite video signals (or one Y/C video signal) and two analog audio signals up to 2,200 feet over standard structured cabling, such as Cat 5. Used in pairs or with the rack-mountable Intelix AVO-V2A2 balun, AVO-V2A2-WP baluns replace bulky coaxial cable and utilize a building’s existing structured cabling network.

Intelix AVO-V2A2-WP-F Y/C or Dual Composite Video and Stereo Audio Wallplate Balun w/RJ45 termination
In this connection example, an Intelix AVO-V2A2-WP-F wallplate balun and an Intelix AVO-V2A2-F rack-mountable balun connect a DVD player to a remote plasma and an audio receiver. Audio and video from the DVD player is balanced by the source balun, transmitted over the Cat 5 cabling, and then unbalanced by the receive balun. The audio from the DVD player is sent to the audio receiver and the video is sent to the plasma.
This connection example shows a pair of AVO-V2A2-WP-F baluns being used in a bi-directional video and audio intercom system. Video and audio are transmitted from the camera at each end to a monitor at the other end. In this way, both video and audio can be transmitted in full duplex over a single Cat-5 type cable.
