HomPro HP-ACVT-DA2 Digital to Analog Stereo Audio Converter
The HomPro digital to analog audio converter offers easy and affordable conversion from TOSLink or coaxial digital audio signals to analog stereo audio.
The HP-ACVT-DA2 has inputs for either TOSLink optical digital audio or coaxial digital audio. If both source types are connected and active at the same time, the TOSLink source will take priority.
On the output side, the converter has both (2) RCA connectors and a 3.5mm TRS stereo audio jack. All outputs are "live", so they may be used individually or simultaneously.
The converter decodes 2-channel (stereo) digital audio signals with sampling rates of 32, 44.1, 38 and 96 KHz, although multi-channel formats such as 5.1 or 7.1 are not supported. Many source devices, such as TVs, make it possible to select stereo-only output, since the TV itself typically will typically have a 2-channel sound system.
