The Intelix HD-4X1 is a 4x1 HDMI Switcher with audio return channel. ARC (Audio Return Channel) is a feature that was first introduced with HDMI 1.4 standard, making it simple to send audio signals back from a connected device, such as a TV, upstream to an A/V receiver.
Supported features include (but are not limited to) 1080p, 1920x1200 (WUXGA computer resolution), 3D, Deep Color 36/30/24 Bit, 7.1 channel audio, including Dolby® TrueHD and DTS-HD, and audio return channel (ARC).
Control options include front panel push-buttons and IR remote, as well as RS-232 for advanced third-party control integration. The HD-4X1 HDMI Switcher generates on-screen menus, making the control interface simple to navigate. In the tradition that we have come to expect from Intelix, this HDMI switcher also includes a feature that is not found in most competing products - namely a coaxial digital audio SPDIF output port. The switcher samples digital audio from the HDMI bitstream and makes it available via the coaxial digital audio output, in addition to the HDMI output, solving any number of integration challenges.
Like most Intelix products, the HD-4X1 comes with a two year limited warranty from the manufacturer.
