Intelix AVO-VGA Passive VGA Video Balun
The AVO-VGA extends VGA video signals up to 450 feet over standard unshielded twisted pair cable, such as Cat 5 or Cat 6.
The AVO-VGA replaces bulky coax with unshielded twisted pair cable. Wiring is less expensive and cable pulls are easier. Unlike other passive VGA extenders, the AVO-VGA features an innovative sync adjust switch to fix distorted or skewed images as a result of weak or distorted sync signals.
As with virtually all systems that are based upon twisted-pair cable technology, the Intelix AVO-VGA baluns will work with virtually any twisted-pair cables, including Cat-5e and Cat-6, but range and bandwidth are directly related to both distance and cable quality. Please see the manual for range with typical Cat-4 cable at various resolutions. To get the highest resolutions at the greatest distances, you will want high-quality, low-skew cables. Each set includes one send balun and one receive balun. No external power supplies are required.
The AVO-VGA is ideal for education, government, house of worship, corporate, residential, and any other application requiring VGA video and stereo audio distribution.
