This 42-105-3 iPod A/V Interface Cable allows you to connect your iPod or MP3 player to your stereo or powered speakers for a bigger sound experience. The cable also includes a composite video connector so that you can use your television set to watch slide shows on a larger screen size.
This 0.9 meter cable connects to the headphone port of the iPod or the line-out port on the iPod Universal Dock to your stereo and/or television.
With it's triplex design (AKA "Siamese-style"), the 42-105-3 has one 3.5mm (1/8") mini plug-male on one end and three color-coded RCA-male connectors on the other, so it works with just about any device that has a matching connector, with the understanding that some otherwise compatible devices, such as the iPhone, do not support video via the headphone jack.
