Audio Authority 979T Analog Audio to Digital Audio (PCM) Converter
The Audio Authority 979T Analog Audio to Digital Audio (PCM) Down-Converter converts analog stereo audio signals to digital PCM (pulse code modulated) audio signals.
Great for use in installations where the audio equipment to be interconnected has differing audio inputs and outputs. The 979T can also be paired with the 979R (sold separately) in cases where pre-installed wiring requires stereo audio to travel over one coaxial cable.
The 979T is equipped with both optical and coaxial digital audio outputs, which are simultaneously active. It outputs universally accepted two-channel (stereo) PCM digital audio. The converter is factory-set for 48KHz output but also allows 96KHz sample rate to be selected by internal jumper.
Like most Audio Authority products, the 979T comes with a one year limited warranty from the manufacturer. The B-Stock Unit also comes with a one year limited warranty.
