Advanced Gigabit Ethernet technology enables HDMI® to be transmitted over a single Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable. Transmitter/receiver system provides a long distance, high reliability solution capable of distributing the latest 1080p video sources.
The system offers exceptional picture quality and reliability, using only a single Cat 5e/6 cable for signal transmission. Connect 2811 receivers to accommodate as many as 127 HDTVs to each 2801 transmitter!

Overview
The 2800 system is capable of transmitting 1080p video content up to 250 feet in one run without any loss of quality, and supports an almost unlimited number of HDTV displays. Using Gigabit Ethernet technology (GbE), picture quality is maximized while overcoming the slow handshake times, poor cable integrity, and distance limitations of traditional HDMI® distribution amplifiers. Using off-the-shelf Gigabit Ethernet switches, a system can be extended for even more distance, or expanded to add more displays. This plug and play system is incredibly simple to install - just connect a single Cat 5e or Cat 6 from the 2801 transmitter to a GbE switch, then feed the cables from the switch to a network of 2811 receivers. The new HD-232 Ethernet Control Bridge offers switching control for many-to-many configurations (available soon).
