Use the Audio Authority 1180T Enclosed Transmitter with any combination of 1180R enclosed receivers and/or 1180RD Decora wallplate receivers.
With its fully-enclosed design, sturdy metal case and small form factor, this transmitter will fit just about anywhere.
The 1180T can transmit component video and digital audio to either one or two receivers, at distances as great as 1000 feet, over a single Cat5-type twisted-pair cable, such as Cat-5, Cat-5e, or Cat-6.
The 1180T is also available as a part of a complete distribution system as SCP-11. If you would prefer to have the same receiver built into a wallplate, please check out the 1180TD receiver.
Like most Audio Authority products, the 1180T comes with a one year limited warranty from the manufacturer.

Overview
The 1180T is a high performance Cat 5 Transmitter designed for use with 1180R and 1180RD Cat 5 Receivers. Utilizing Audio Authority's proprietary AGE (Active Gain Equalization) technology, image quality is maintained over long distances. Passive baluns can't compete with active balanced line technology like that found in the 1180TD Cat 5 extender, which offers higher bandwidth, excellent impedance matching, and superior noise rejection. Perfect HD picture up to 1,000 feet from the source via AGE technology.
