The Intelix S-V16AR 16-Channel Active Receiver Balun is part of Intelix's Security Solutions family
of products. By adding optional S-V16AR-MOD channel modules, the S-V16AR can receive composite video from as many as 16
remote sources, such as cameras. Two buffered video outputs are provided on each channel module,
so up to 32 monitors and/or DVRs can be driven.
Video is transmitted from each remote location over a single Cat 5 / Cat 6 cable by using optional
S-V1AT, S-V1ST, or S-BB4 baluns. Operating range when using passive S-V1ST or S-BB4 send baluns,
is up to 1850 feet. If you need even more range, the active V1AT send baluns extend the maximum
distance to 4000 feet.
With integrated features like ground loop isolation, surge suppression and automatic video
adjustment, the S-V16AR can save money when compared to using discrete devices.
Like most Intelix products, the S-V16AR comes with a two-year limited warranty.

The Intelix S-V16AR receives composite video up to 4,000 feet over standard twisted pair cabling, such
as Cat 5 and Cat 6. When used in conjunction with compatible passive Intelix baluns, the S-V16AR
effectively extends cabling distances and replaces traditional bulky video cable.
A rack-mounted card frame system, the S-V16AR supports up to 16 active input modules (sold separately),
thereby allowing custom configurations depending on the application requirements. Each channel features
dual buffered BNC outputs, built-in surge suppression, ground loop isolation, gain and loss control,
diagnostic video detection, and automatic video adjustment. The S-V16AR is ideal for security and
monitoring applications with such equipment as CCTV cameras, monitors, DVRs, video sequencers, video
multiplexers, quads, switchers, and servers.
